The Epson Stylus Photo R1500 W uses the same series ink cartridges as the older discontinued R1400 model   (T0791 Black, T0792 Cyan, T0793 Magenta, T0794 Yellow, T0795 Light/Photo Cyan, and T0796 Light/Photo Magenta), however important changes have been made preventing owners from using the same older type cartridges.  Only new modified cartridges will work in the new printer.
